honored as one of nation's top lawyers
Charleston

April as one of the nation's most distinguished lawyers by Best

Winneker
to serve as new career services director
The school has hired Joshua D. Winneker to
serve as its new career services director. He will direct the law
school's private placement initiatives within the newly-constituted
Office of Career Services. More.
Sanders
presents paper on baseball and the law
Alex Sanders, chairman of the Board of the
Charleston School of Law, was selected by the National Baseball
Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y., to present a paper during ceremonies.

Some
136 members of the Class of 2009 graduated May 16 from the Charleston
School of Law during a ceremony highlighted by a commencement address
by U.S. Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., the third-ranking member
of the U.S. House of Representatives. More.

its origins to the 1825 formation of The Forensic Club, the
Charleston School of Law is reinvigorating the study of law
in Charleston by offering a rich, comprehensive three-year
program rooted in excellence.
Not only
will students be able to take advantage of mentoring and externship
programs offered in conjunction with Charleston's collegial,
professional Bar, they will get a firsthand look at the study
of law in a city anchored by an area known as the Four Corners
of Law.
