The Department of Student Affairs at the Charleston
School of Law is dedicated to meeting the needs of students
and fulfilling the school's mission of teaching the practice
of law as a profession, with its chief aim of providing public
service.
The Department of Student Affairs serves as the primary liaison
between the students, administration, and faculty at the School
of Law and seeks to enhance the quality of student life through
the development of student activities; through the coordination
of school-wide events such as the Professionalism Series, Graduation,
and Awards Day; establishing special events and leadership programming;
identifying and developing public service and Externship placements;
fostering leadership opportunities; advising the Executive Leadership
Council and the Student Bar Association; and providing general
support and counseling for all students and student organizations.
The Department of Student Affairs is located on the first floor
of the BellSouth building at 385 Meeting Street, Charleston,
